State of Tennessee Office of the State Architect (OSA), Building Information Modeling Standards (BIMs), Version 1.1

KFA worked collaboratively with OSA, OSA’s High Performance Buildings initiative, the state’s procurement agencies, designers and contractors doing business with the state, construction counsel, and insurers to develop BIM requirements for design and construction that create value for the citizens of Tennessee through a more efficient and effective facility design, construction and operations process.  Available at the State of Tennessee website here.

GSA BIM Guide Series 02 For Spatial Data Validation

As part of a task order awarded to KFA to provide model checking services, KFA developed over 50 model checking rules to verify BIM model compliance with both PBS design standards and modeling standards. In addition, KFA provided updates to the GSA BIM Guide 02 – Spatial Program Validation to reflect user feedback and changes to GSA space classification standards.
